when i was a kid i did not even know which companies was making my game. i was playing them and rly didn't care.

I don't play Fortnite therefor the game is dying. Fortnite won't die, but it will lose some popularity which literally happens with every single game.

Alicia Flickinger

yeah if lol survived all the other mobas why wouldn't Fortnite still be a thing 10 years from now? i swear you people have the attention span of a goldfish

Brian Mackenzie

They probably moved to Apex something or the other. Well as long as the cancer is contained then I really couldn't care any less

The best thing about this is whenever a new game comes out and gains popularity, people claim that League of Legends' dominance is over, the new game is clearly better and more popular. They even suggest that some "good" features should be imported to League, because Riot is obviously losing ground to these new titles. Then they go down the toilet and LoL remains the undisputed no.1 game worldwide. For almost 10 years at this point, but people still refuse to believe that Riot knows what the fuck they are doing. We've been through this so many times. Dota2, HotS, Hearthstone, WoW whenever it gets a new expansion, Overwatch, PUBG, Battlerite, Fortnite and it's only the matter of weeks before fucktards make Apex Legends join the list. And they never learn. They never fucking learn not to confuse actually viable and sustainable business strategy with momentary gimmick that will die down in a few months.

OP like I don't really care, then makes a post about the thing he doesn't care about.

I am actually quite saddened by this. I have in the last month been capable of playing my favourite moba and fps games, without any screaming babies, thanks to Fortnite.

There wasn't't any launchers back then. Valve just launched it then. I don't mind launchers. I mine monopolizing and exclusives. Its bad business and terrible for consumers.

Senad Mustafovski

This this makes me happy the only way these fcktards are gonna learn to make decent games is to hittem where it hurts. The wallet

Willye Taylor

I don't want all the doodoos playing Fortnite to return to my Dota matchmaking pool. It's been so damn good, and i don't want it to end!! Keep that game alive son!

Fortnite was dying before apex came out Cuz developers made shit decisions on removing features from the game that made fortnite fornite. Apex just came and made the process faster

Linda Briere

I guess Fortnite bubble did burst. Still even 50% is still a lot of money. And beside that, Apex took them by surprise and they still need to properly answer that with some form of updated or enhancement to the game. Still, I doubt it is dying, it just was over-popularized and bubble grew too big.

Serrina Randolph

Lol, you can have a month with 150% of what you make on average and then you have month where you have just 50%. It can also depend on season and other factors. When such things happen in a row you can have a trend. If you have past data you can make predictions as well.

Angelica Nordgaard

A single google search make you find that article, and that it's neither linked to Apex (the article is talking about january and Apex came out in february), nor a loss of popularity. The article is saying the causes may be Christmas, where people (let's say children) could've been gifted cards for in-game payment, and the fact the pass for the season 7 also came out in December.

Mary Beaver

you got to be stupid to think players cry when revenue drops... it's only an argument to claim "you hate the game so much" (how original)

Cheryl Warren

Don't worry, them Epic Store will cover their loss. I hope they lavishly spends more and buy exclusives.

Katie Lopez

If you don’t care why are you posting about it?

Fozia Amjad

They are just crawling back to league of legends ,thats bad

Mary Murray

That means 50% of that income has infected another game now...
